CYCLEPASSION –
INSPIRED BY FUTURE
Cyclepassion has been known over ten years as a stylish bicycle calendar featuring famous female cyclists from all over the world. The list of photographed female cyclists is impressive and long. 2016 the calendar was photographed by Kai Stuht, one of the most renowned German photographers. In the cycling industry, he has gained worldwide recognition for his groundbreaking photo spreads with Jan Ullrich and T-Mobile on the sidelines of the 100th Tour de France, as well as a multi-page feature in Stern magazine. The calendar concept for 2016, Inspired by future, is dedicated to innovation and the future.
Special prototype bikes from around the world were shipped to Germany for this project. The selected locations reflected the aesthetic of a distant future. The distinctive architecture of the Phaeno in Wolfsburg by architect Zaha Hadid stood out prominently. Employing bold shadows and his unique monochromatic style, Kai Stuht captured the essence of the project with minimal post-processing. Today, these images adorn the walls of luxury hotels worldwide.
