TRANSHUMANISM
The Transhumanism photoshoot served as an early warning against the inhumanity of transhumanism. Today, this battle between the machine-human, as described by Prof. Dr. Dr. Christian Schubert, and the spiritual, divine being, as articulated in Kai Stuht's Project Fovea, is becoming increasingly apparent. The push to upgrade humans into machines, as publicly advocated by Yuval Harari, raises concerns about potential hacking of the human experience.
Kai Stuht, through his photography, has always provided glimpses into the future, as seen in his portrait campaign Ignorance pulls the Trigger and Project Fovea. This early photo story on transhumanism is another example of his foresight into the challenges that lie ahead.
