UNRETOUCHED
For the past four years, I haven't undertaken any major photo shoots, except for a luxury hotel in Frankfurt that requested images post-COVID. The pandemic has been a draining force for artists and creatives, with no industry feeling its impact more profoundly.
However, for me, this is not a reason to despair. On the contrary, I see the future in embracing total change. That's why I've left this series, captured with the Leica M Monochrom, untouched. With projects like Portrait Only, I've already bid farewell to the fashion industry, choosing to photograph only with historical second-hand clothing – no post-production, no makeup – just a genuine, unaltered photo.
This might very well be my future, moving away from artificially generated, flawless images by artificial intelligence. Authenticity is the mantra of this series, revealing a real person with their true beauty to the viewer. It's a goodbye to the industry's reliance on filters!
